The roots, the credentials, and the diaries.
I’m Milly — an actor and performance coach who’s right there in the thick of today’s industry. From drama school auditions to Netflix sets, I’ve lived the journey I now coach others through — so the guidance I give isn’t theory, it’s what’s working right now.
I trained at LASALLE College of the Arts (Singapore) and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (UK). In my final year at Central, I booked a lead role at the Royal Court Theatre, followed by a guest role in Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat’s Dracula (Netflix). This helped me to secure a Global Talent visa to continue acting and living in the UK.
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside and learning from actors like Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Emma Corrin (The Crown), Juliet Stevenson (Emma), Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead), Katie Leung (Bridgerton), Gabby Wong (Kaos), Louisa Harland (Derry Girls), and Nicola Walker (Annika).
I work closely with actors across the UK and internationally, offering drama school audition coaching, self-tape training, career mentoring and consistent actor training that’s relevant to today’s fast-changing industry.
My approach blends classical technique with practical, up-to-date strategies that build confidence, clarity, and truthful work – on camera and in the room.
Since then, I’ve worked across stage and screen internationally, and my coaching travels with me — from online sessions with actors across the globe to in-person workshops in Singapore and the UK.
Alongside my coaching, I sit on the audition panel for a top UK drama school and conduct self-tape and industry masterclasses at universities and youth theatre programmes. I know exactly what happens behind the table — and how to help you walk into the room (or on set) with clarity, confidence, and a game plan.
Before becoming a coach, I mentored actors one-on-one for months at a time — guiding them to drama school offers, agent signings, and booked jobs. I’ve also worked with the National Theatre Studios, Almeida Theatre, and Headlong Theatre (to name a few) in developing new writing, refining ideas, and building performances from the ground up.
I started my career during a huge industry shift — the rise of self-tapes, digital platforms, and changing casting expectations. I know what it’s like to adapt on the fly, keep your creativity alive, and still show up as your best self.
If you want support that’s relevant, real, and ready for today’s industry, let’s work together. We’ll build your technique, sharpen your instincts, and make sure you show up as the actor you know you can be.
That instant a choice becomes embodied — stakes sharpen, you feel it in your bones.
Panels and breakdowns can be cryptic. I translate feedback into steps you can action today.
Acting is a long game — I’ll give you frameworks that last beyond a single audition.
